I was really rusty and I went to John for an audition, and he was like ‘why aren’t you taking this more seriously?’ He was the first person I opened up to and I cried and said I couldn’t afford it, and he hugged me and said ‘don’t ever let money get in the way of this.’ He helped me and then shortly afterwards I booked United States of Tara which was the turning point. |
